What a fun romp through the world of color, Christina! I just love how you found so many diverse quotes and photos to feature. I’m most intrigued by the color-blind woman’s take on color – it never occurred to me how beneficial it might be for color-blind folks to get to imagine and feel and remember color.
Thanks for a beautiful and thought-provoking post.
Holy cow, girl!! What a fantastic post – gorgeous pictures with such meaningful quotes – beautiful. just beautiful!!
Christina, You outdid yourself. You gave us so much to see and think about. I enjoy how you explain things and incorporate anecdotes and quotes.
Awesome.

Christina,
What a wonderful post covering color in so many ways. I loved reading the quotes and looking at the interplay of colors in the photos – one more inspiring than the next.
How clever of you to express yourself via the voices of others! Interesting and entertaining…
Color and context. Happy to see you quote some old garden web friends. My favorite color quote of all? ‘ I adore that Pink! It’s the navy blue of India.’ –Diana Vreeland
Lovely illustrations and poetic quotes to go with them, Christina. A feast for the eyes and soul.
Anyone who quotes Ironbelly from Garden Web has got to have it down straight !
Dan is the man.
When asked what is my favorite color I usually remark that I’m not in third grade anymore. .. and then offer this smug answer.. “plaid”.
I do believe I’m going to bookmark this so I can come back to it later. Fantastic quotes, but what a moving story from the GardenWeb member who was blind. Wow!
Lovely way to interpret this particular post. Very thoughtful.
Beautiful post Christina! I love the Musa and Colocasia in the Neutral pots, they are beautiful. Wonderfully inspiring quotes too, nice touch! Scott
Beautiful pictures; great quotes! Really love it!
